Our Studio
Personal Best is not your average Pilates studio. We recognize that every body is different and employ different training methods to help meet your individual fitness goals. Come on in and try us out!
Location
We are located in downtown Duluth inside the Board of Trade Building on the corner of W 1st St and 3rd Ave W. Enter through the door on 1st St and walk straight ahead to the studio.
Equipment
Our studio is equipped with five Balanced Body reformers as well as many accessories to enhance your workout. If you are new, your instructor will help adjust your reformer to the best settings for you, and will walk you through how to use the equipment.
Safety
Your safety is our top priority. If you have any injuries or concerns for your workout, please don't hesitate to let us know. We are happy to help and can always adjust exercises to your needs.

Carrie is the owner of Personal Best. Carrie is a passionate Pilates instructor dedicated to helping clients achieve their fitness goals in a supportive and encouraging environment. With a strong foundation in Pilates, Carrie creates engaging and challenging classes that cater to all fitness levels. She is committed to proper form and alignment, ensuring clients experience the full benefits of Pilates while minimizing the risk of injury. Carrie believes in the transformative power of Pilates and enjoys witnessing clients gain strength, improve posture, and feel more confident in their bodies.
Linda Carrillo, raised in Rapid City, South Dakota, began dance at a local studio, studying ballet, tap, and jazz. She trained with Gus Giordano and received scholarships to Ballet West and the Joffrey Ballet at ages 14 and 16 respectively. At 17, she joined Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet under Arnold Spohr, learning from notable instructors. Linda performed in various ballets including works by DeMille, Neumeier, Balanchine, and Dantzig, with highlights in Greece and Egypt.
She holds certifications from Cecchetti Council of America and Royal Winnipeg Ballet as well as the Physicalmind Institute, Stott, NETA in Group Exercise, Mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates and other specialties. Linda has taught creative movement to company classes, trained students and teachers for Cecchetti exams, and choreographed ballet, tap, jazz, and musicals.
Linda enjoys teaching at Personal Best Pilates, walking her dogs, and spending time with her husband of 34 years, 5 children and their spouses and grandchildren.
